Data: Pen name: Goshu, Mokkei-shi. Dharma transmission from Daigyo Kokin. He became the abbot of Kocho-ji in 1762. He was selected to be the Zen master of Daijo-ji monastery in 1789. He retired to Hakusen-ken in 1798, but he was recommended to be the abbot of Daijo-ji again in 1801.
