Temple: The Soto sect. The 2nd chief abbot of Soji-ji. Chokoku-ji, Nagano, Saijo-ji in Odawara.
Data: Honorific name: Hounfugai Zenji. Pen name: Zuiji-donin. Dharma transmission from Bizan Katsuei. He practiced Zen under Gessan, Kokuin, Mugaku Guzen, Kakugan Jitsumyo and Gettan. He became the abbot of Koryu-ji in 1858 and was selected the 2nd chief abbot of Soji-ji in 1880. He retired to Rinsen-ji in Tokyo in 1901.
