Because you really ought to make a deep bow. (Lotus Sutra). The chief abbot of Otowa-san (Kiyomizu dera) Ryokei painted and added text. *Kanzeon Bodhisattva wearing a white robe. Certified by myself on January 4th in 1939. The master of Otowa san Ryokei old man.

Data: Pen name; Gomei. He became the chief abbot of Kiyomizu-dera in 1914. He lived to be 108 years old. He eagerly promoted the social activities, a home for the aged or children. He continued to preach for the summer seminar for 68 years. Itfs well known that he had a profound knowledge of Zen. A priest with a talent for calligraphy, painting and Chinese poetry.
