Data: Pen name: Yugen-kutsu, Shinsei, Haku-do'nin. Dharma transmission from Goten. Practicing Zen under Doei Tsusho, Yubai Kyoun in Obaku and Kogaku So'en, Mokurai Soen in Rinzai. He became the Zen master of Oubaku Manpuku-ji in 1905 and also the 49th chief abbot in 1939. He retired to Kan'non-ji in Mie and re-founded Chifuku-ji in 1946.
