The Daitoku-ji branch. The 486th abbot of the Daitoku-ji sect. Zen master of Enpuku-ji, Kyoto.
Painting of a stick and a gourd painted by Gyokusen. Text added by Sohan Genpo. He enters a crowd hanging a gourd. He walks in a city with a gourd hanging at his waist and visits each houses. He enters into sake dealers and fish stores, then makes people to be Buddha-nature. Murasakino Shoun old man. *Certified by Den'ne-shitsu Yoju Roshi.
